A note from the founder
From lived experience
I came to this work through lived experience with consumer-law matters. The process was difficult to understand, the stakes felt enormous, and shame made already hard situations feel even harder. I wanted to build tools that gave people a clearer next step and a more grounded way to ask for help.
Building those consumer tools taught me just as much about the attorneys supporting people through these moments. Solo attorneys and small firms carry legal judgment, client anxiety, documents, deadlines, and a surprising amount of administrative work, often without the staff or software support larger firms can rely on.
The same process can be routine to the system and life-changing to the person inside it.
